Got to say that the 1st or 2nd pint I had at Braxton of the Graeters wasn't what I was hoping for but what my Brother-in-Law who happens to work for Graeters gave me in cans was really rather good.

 

We actually had a ICE CREAM Soda a couple of weeks ago down at Braxton with Dead Blow and Double Chocolate Chip and surprisingly, it was really rather good.

 

Really like their beer and the staff is great. Nice place to spend a couple of hours at.

Been seeing a few people have liked this quite a bit more than the first collaboration. I haven't had it yet. Not sure I am going to go out of my way to try it, but I am still interested.

 

Anyone had it?

Had it at the Tap Room, liked it, even took some cans home to have. You can actually taste the Blueberry in the drink, now the crust is another matter but the Blueberry flavor is really pretty good.

The Blueberry hit my nose as soon as I popped the can. They smell so fresh and the flavor is long lasting. I also get a nice brown sugar flavor, at 7% these could get you in major trouble. For me it blows the doors off of the prior Graeters collaboration.

I haven't tried it yet but I'm sure I'll have at least one by weeks end. I think the brown ale may allow the sweetness to come through in this one.

 

Decided to see if DEPs had it on the way home and they did. And you are spot on. You definitely get a lot more of the sweetness compared to the first collaboration. I definitely liked it, but won't say love. I'm glad I have a four pack to enjoy a few more but its to sweet to drink multiple in a row for me.

 

Definitely doesn't drink as 7%.

I look forward to giving this one a go. Big fan of Braxton.

 

A year ago, I wouldn't have even called myself a fan. There were just there. They have totally come around for me over the past year and definitely a big fan of what they're doing now.
