Yep. Lots of wins in the regular season. Flameouts in the playoffs.

Didn't Trinity win by 1 to a team that didn't have their starting qb? I seen Trinity scrimmage Ryle I wasn't impressed. SK has a more explosive offense right now.

A lot of talent on the freshman team at SK. Some of the big boys just need to realize they are not playing nkyfl and it will not work to just lean on the the other team anymore. QB is in his second year playing QB and is getting better every week. There will be some nice battles at QB the next few years.

Anderson is a hard running rb that will only get better. Nate Walker will be a beast at mlb for sure. Speed at receiver and some talented db's as well. SK will be in fine shape. Hopefully Marksberry will start playing a tougher schedule to get the team ready for better playoff runs in the future.

I think we find out the same thing every year with Simon Kenton, good team, weak schedule, lots of wins, crash and burn when it counts.

I think the scheduling Marksberry did in years past worked as he built the program. If he wants to take Simon Kenton to a higher level, he needs to schedule up, take some losses and try to get the Pioneers ready for what they will see in the playoffs. He has the program to the point where a couple of losses to really strong opponents are not going to hurt the program - they will help. If I were the coach, I would schedule at least one game (maybe two) where I knew we would have to play an amazing game to get a win.

Simon has a decent schedule this year but it is not the kind of schedule that prepares you to beat St. X and Trinity.

SK has played against much lesser competition. Warren Central would beat them by 20.

SK isn't even in the smae time zone as Trinity when it comes to strength of schedule and strength of program.
