Dixie Heights looks to rebound after a loss to Campbell County by hosting the Scott Eagles.

Scott also looking for their first win of 2017 falling to Newport Central Catholic 17-7.

 

Dixie led 16-0 at halftime, then Campbell County went to a running attack as a halftime adjustment and came back to win 27-23.

The Dixie'a run D should look better against Scott, & the Dixie run attack will be tough to stop in this one. I'm going to go Dixie by 2 Touchdowns.

I mistyped after re-reading and should have said Scott should have been blown out not NCC. My message in the second sentence is correct that Scott can't overcome mental mistakes.

If Dixie's run defense struggles like they did in the 2nd half vs CC, than this game could be a close.

If Dixie cannot stop a big back, then Thurza for Scott could be a handful. He also will make it hard to run up the middle for Dixie. The boy is about as stout as they come. If they have to watch Thurza, then Perrin will have some room to run. This could be a very interesting matchup.

This^^. Scott will run the ball this year. They had over 200 yards rushing against NCC and have 3 very good backs, and a solid O-line. Scott very easily could have, and arguably should have won last week against NCC. If they can run the ball again this week, and now that Ohmer has a game under his belt at QB, improve the passing attack some, they could conceivably win this game. This is not an automatic "W" for Dixie.
