Looking at stats from both games from the winning teams as Ashland or Lawrence County have posted any, Raceland give up 310 yards on the ground. Ashland supposedly only got 28 yards against Harlan County.But they did throw the ball fairly well and that's where we will see if Raceland can defend both the pass and run. Ashland will have to defend both as well as Harlan County dominated them on the ground and only threw the ball a few times. Both teams will have to play 4 quarters instead on 2.

Ashland is going to be hungry for a win. Playing at Putnam is always tough. This is a toss up for me but I'm going to go with Ashland...home field advantage.

Just a side note for anyone attending the game tomorrow: 29th street from Winchester Avenue to the 29th/Belmont split is basically shut down completely. This shouldn't effect many Raceland fans unless they spend some time downtown prior to the game and decided to use 29th street from the downtown area rather than 13th street. Basically avoid 29th street until the intersection of 29th and Blackburn and you shouldn't have any problems.

I'm going with the Rams 27-21.

Raceland looked better than expected last week, while Ashland struggled to get going against a much larger opponent in Harlan County. Raceland doesn't have the size that HC had, but they'll still have an advantage there. Ashland might bust loose for a few big plays, but I think the Rams will be more consistent and balanced on offense and come up with enough stops on defense to pull out a close win at Putnam.
