I see that Kroger now has them (not sure $$$)...hopefully they're approved... I'll probably check tomorrow to pick up a pair.

Here is what you need to test them. Put them on in your house. Can you see anything? No? Good. Take them outside and put them on. Look at the sun. Can you see that somewhat and nothing else? Yes? You are good to go.
