Goode was already the best interior player in the region, and now they've added more size. Could and should be interesting. If the kid is an interior player I don't think he a Goode can play at the same time. Other teams would take advantage of that I think. If he can stretch the floor a bit with his shot then that would be better for Larue. Don't they have another kid that plays inside for them as well?

 

Yes they have two more, Anthony Adkins and Dallis Cox. In addition to Adkins and Cox, Kane Harris is suppose to be returning to the lineup this season as well for LaRue County.

By the sound of things this probably will put Larue in the top tier. How ironic all the top teams this year Adair, John, Larue have new additions and Taylor from what I have heard does not. What a crazy world we live in.

And that was the same final four as last season in the 5th region. I am willing to bet that isn't the final four this year for multiple reasons.

I think the new addition will have to be pretty good to equal M.J. Embree from last year, he was really good for them and played alongside Goode. Adkins could possibly be their version of Embree and the new addition be a bonus.

 

Only other starter they lose was Cameron Dawson, he will be replaced by freshman Jeremiah Belton at the point guard position. Derek Goode had a monster junior year but an injury plagued senior season for the Hawks and his shooting will be missed.

Agreed that this probably won't be the final four of region but I do think these 4 teams will be the best teams in the region.

Sounds like a big get for Larue and gives them the best front court in the region most likely. Adair now has another kid from BG who is around 6'2 or 6'3. He will be a sophomore and is very comparable to Cameron Lasley who just played for them.
