I don't think we're done. I think you'll see Schwarber and Almora moved as well, maybe even Jake

They offered Schwarber to Detroit already, we will see if Detroit changes their mind.

I don't think that happened. The original source on that was not a legit account. Just a lot of other bloggers took it and ran.

That being said, I'd give up Schwarber for Fulmer straight up

Me too.

I'm sure you would. The Tigers would hang up though.

At this point making Schwarber the center piece of a trade for an established front-line player would be a tough sell for a GM.

This time next year it might be a different conversation. Then again it could be that Schwarber isn't that good.

I think you guys are putting too much value in a guy with a career .210 batting average. He's barely been better than a replacement level player in his time with the Cubs.

Incredibly overrated.

Cubs want Gray, that would cost Happ and Schwarber I bet.

His last 7 starts 2.70 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 10.13 K/9...He's also under contract until 2020

Have to be unloading players to go all in on Harper

Why would unloading cheap, minor league players indicate they're going to pursue Harper?

He went 13-12 with a 3.20 ERA last season and he's 4-8 with a 4.49 ERA and you trade all that for him? I could understand if it was Verlander or Gray but Quintana? You have to be kidding me....What are you thinking Theo?

WOW.....

Personally I value Quintana more than Verlander, especially when you consider their contracts.

I don't much about Sonny Gray's contract.

Arbitration eligible in 2018, 2019 and a free agent in 2020.

Harper has made it known that he'd like to play for the Cubs.
