Have another hit of … :sneaky:

“Fresh Air” - Quicksilver Messenger Service

This is 1970s jazzy psychedelic rock at its finest. Great piano work here by Nicky Hopkins (The Rolling Stones, The Who and The Kinks).

“Mystery Achievement” - The Pretenders

I just cleared my DVR of the HBO series The Deuce. Great music throughout. This though, wows! Thumping bass and an absolutely scathing guitar by James Honeyman-Scott. If this doesn’t do it for ya, I pronounce you dead above and below the neck.

Bought this on vinyl upon release. Somewhere on the album sleeve, or maybe the liner notes, were Chrissie’s instructions to, “Play this loud.”

I did.

Repeatedly.

I honestly don't think I've heard this one since shortly after it came out in the late 90s. I was always a fan of REM and still do keep a couple of their albums in my regular rotation, but I'd forgotten about this nugget.

Heard it one WFPK on the drive into work this morning. One of the absolute best radio stations out there, if you ask me.

REM - Daysleeper
