July 3, 20179 yr Author Loved talking with the kid, and watching him play on the limited chances I got to. You had to figure out ways to counteract his immense impact on games, because it took a lot of complex variables to even slow him down. A good coach could build some formidable teams around guys like Henry. His grandfather was Jude Talbott, who is well-known around the Bardstown area and beyond. Talbott was a youngster on St. Joe Prep's 1953 KHSAA state baseball championship team (they were runners-up the two prior years). Talbott later played for Ed Diddle at WKU in hoops and has told me stories about playing at MSG. He also was an assistant coach for Garnis Martin in Bardstown HS' first state football title team in 1967. My deepest condolences to the family.
