June 28, 20179 yr I am guessing there was no source......Clyde after the undercover video who can believe anything these guys say? I mean to anyone that will watch , this pretty much is, well its just what most thought. Crap. A narrative. If someone will really dig on CNN and the DNC I would bet the crap would get even deeper. I am beginning to think what may be going on is that CNN and other MSM outlets may just use one rogue lying source in the Intelligence area to make stuff up or greatly distort things. By not having multiple sources, it only takes one bad guy to literally make stuff up and it becomes a story. Scary times as media standards are basically non-existent. It is a shame because I literally don't believe anything in political news right now...
June 28, 20179 yr So they apologized to the man because the information was the Truth? From their comments they apologized because they couldn't prove the allegations. Are you calling that a lie by CNN? Let's say: I am Jesse's neighbor. My other neighbor Ed tells me he was told that Jesse deals heroin. I tell the police that someone told Ed that Jesse deals heroin. Police storm Jesse's house looking for heroin. They do so without a search warrant. 1. Did I , as the person who reported what I was told to the police, lie? 2. Did the police not following protocol and getting a search warrant prove what I was told was false? 3. If Ed did indeed lie does that mean I lied? You guys are stretching hard to kill CNN. CNN employees failed to do their job in the proper manner. Doesn't mean they lied. Doesn't mean the source was wrong. It just means they didn't have enough to go public. CNN held them accountable.

I'm not stretching things , you are trying to play your normal semantics game. The New York posted reported a 100 million dollar lawsuit was threatened and then they fired. If they thought the story was true why cave ?
June 29, 20179 yr I'm not stretching things , you are trying to play your normal semantics game. The New York posted reported a 100 million dollar lawsuit was threatened and then they fired. If they thought the story was true why cave ? Copout answer. I'm not playing any semantics game. I'm challenging lazy narrative. I gave you an example that should have shown you the err in your logic. You and others keep saying CNN lied. Nothing they've said nor done says they lied. They have been clear as to why they fired the three. You are choosing to assume and read between the lines without anything to back it up. A lawsuit backs up nothing. There could be many reason they picked to use to fire the 3. Could one be the 3 lied? Sure. However, that has not been stated nor has it been show to be the case. It's just assumed by folks who have a stiff one for CNN.

While you two are good debaters you would be horrible witnesses on the witness stand, because you would be regulated to a one line or word answer. Thats what these are.

June 29, 20179 yr . Well speaking in message board terms. I don't follow. Why would I be a poor witness? What about my analogy that I gave is inaccurate to the debate that CNN lied?
