June 4, 20179 yr KSM obviously knows more about the terrorist mindset than just about anybody else, but either he or the interviewer left out the biggest aspect of radicalization - the internet. Individuals sympathetic to Al Queda, ISIS, or any other group of the day can become indoctrinated or at the very least radicals can inculcate their warped world view while a terrorist sits on his couch in any place in the world. Obviously it doesn't have all the answers, but I'd highly recommend the documentary American Jihad on Showtime. Shut off the internet and mass terrorism is over ? Interesting... You may be right. June 4, 20179 yr I would say that is a huge leap. I think the posters are just pointing out the facts of who is carrying out these attacks. Some posters are also pigeon-holing a religion leaving few options. We have millions of Muslims who live in peace in the USA. BILLIONS live in peace in this world. We need to bring the rest to the light side.

Oh I don't advocate limiting civil liberties at all, I just don't think bombing a village or shouting down borders will be as effective at eradicating radicalism as we would like to believe. The world is as small as it has ever been in history.
