Bobby Gesenhues - Kid Galahad, all around athlete, best sport was softball post high school.

 

Hated to pitch against him. He hit a first pitch of the game right at me. Don't know how I caught it, but I did. He threw his bat half way up in the woods on field one at softball city.

At least you fared better than that poor dude at Tower Park one night. Took one right in the sweet spot. OUCH!!!!!!!

 

Surprised the bat went into the woods. Saw brother Tom saw one in half on a fence pole one day.

Jimmy indeed graduated with me. He was a Newport Police officers for awhile, haven't seen him in some time.

 

Yes...was injured while on the force, and retired. It's been a while since I've seen him.

The Boyers gang (Jimmy, David, Lisa)are my cousins. I think Jimmy graduated in 84.

Two others in that photo are/were also police officers and graduated with us, Floyd Combs and Billy Webster. I think Billy is still a Covington Police officer.
