The sophomore class at CovCath follows up their frosh championship with a JV championship. Nice job fellas!

CCH's Soph and Frosh classes are ultra-talented in "the big 3" sports.

Only report I got was the Birds kicked the ball around a lot.

This was NOT the 9th region championship. Teams from the 8th and 10th regions also played . Cov. Cath. avenged 2 previous loses to the Bluebirds.

CovCath and Highlands played only twice this year. Highlands nipped CovCath 6 - 5 in the first game. CovCath run ruled the Brids in the finals.

How many frosh and JV championships is this now for the Colonels in the last 15 or so years? Seems like a lot.

Highlands did indeed have four or five errors, maybe more. CCH had some timely hits and put down three or four very nice bunt hits. They kept the pressure on.

Colonels had no errors and got a nice pitching effort from Stallman.

Oh and that State Championship in 2002 that hasn't been won by a Ninth Region Team since and the last one prior to Krumps and CovCath was in 1963 by Covington Holmes.
