Featured Replies

Here's the first outlook for this weekend's Kentucky Derby.

Saturday morning 5/6/17

Temps in the low to mid 30s little or no chance of showers

2 pm EDT

Temps in the upper 40s to low 50s chance of light showers.

Around post times temps look to be in the low upper 40s to low 50s with a chance of showers.

I'll be posting more detailed updates as we get closer.

Not good.....

Let's hope for a swing in the forecast (for the better).

It is also the weekend of the All "A" Baseball State Tournament at Whitaker Bank Ballpark in Lexington.

Sounds a bit nippy for the first Saturday in May.

Saturday is now in the range of the NAM model and it is also showing temps in the mid to upper 30s by 5 am Saturday morning with light showers early in the morning. A heavier batch of showers looks to move in around mid morning and lingering around most of the afternoon. Temps look to be in the low to mid 40s where the rain falls. The following simulated model runs only go to around 2 pm EDT. Check back for updates later.

Sorry I didn't say hello yesterday, but I'm assuming you didn't spend a whole lot of time in your seats? Ours were under cover. The club house was very nice yesterday. We had access this year. Maybe explains why the ticket price jumped so much.

We got there around 1:30. We stayed in our box most of the time we were there. I don't blame you for not coming out and seeing us though, it was pretty nasty. Hopefully you had better luck than I did.

Hit a couple of nice ones early. Broke even except for those $10.00 beers.
