I'd say what little chance of Ludlow winning this game has gone out the window with the delay and the change of venue.

Fortunately Ludlow players don't think the way you do and they will show up and strap in on and continue to play their hearts out and you never know just what might happen. That is why they play the game, right?:irked:

You are correct that you never know. My comment was simply a commentary on their chances being hurt by last night's weather. The turf is going to greatly help Beechwood.

I'm an "outsider;" an LCA fan. Please explain why the turf change would be advantagous to Beechwood. Thanks.

beechies are used to playing on turf and will now be playing at home....

Thanks. And welcome to BGP, Weasel91! :thumb:

Change of venue, loss of momentum, loss of a fired up homecoming crowd. Tough one to swallow for the Panthers who had a decent start against the heavily favored Tigers. Just an overall tough situation for all involved.

Well the better team did win this game. But if they game had been finished last night or didn't have a delay the score probably would have been closer but with Beechwood still winning. Last night Beechwood really couldn't stop Ludlow's offense. But with the delay Beechwood got to make adjustments, and really stopped the run today that was their last night. But the pass was there today to start the game and Ludlows offense was still able to move the ball. But after halftime Beechwood got to make more adjustments and then they shut down the offense in the second half. So with the delay and halftime today gave Beechwood two times to make adjustments and that was the differnce because you cant give a team as good as Beechwood that many chances to make adjustments. Ludlow's defense though however was not able to stop Beechwoods offense at all, because all Beechwood did was run the ball but they couldn't stop it. So even if they game did get played last night with no delays Beechwood still would have won but the score might have been a little closer than this score. I know though if they do see each other again in the playoffs the offense of Ludow will have some confidence now because they did show in the first that they could move the ball. The defense though would have to step up to have a chance.

Good win by Beechwood, and good luck next week againt NCC. I look for Ludlow to get back on track next week against Bracken!

thanks bluto. just rejoined recently after seeing the guru in my office recently.

Good time for the Panthers to face Bracken. Several players with some nagging injuries that could use a little extra time to heal.

:thumb: Yeah I know the Panthers came out a little banged up after this Beechwood game, and I am not trying to take a shot at Bracken and get any of their fans all mad like the Bellevue fans. :sssh: But everyone knows Bracken is kind of down, so this would be a good game to get the Panthers back on track and give some of their starters who are injured some rest.

All the same I bet Coach Borchers gets the guys ready as if they are playing one of the top tier teams of the conference. :thumb:
