Mason Co. should be able to win this game rather easily. Boyd Co. although showed signs of a decent team against JC last week, doesnt have the athletes to compete with Mason IMO. My prediction:

Did Boyd graduate a lot from last season? I know after the win against Russell, they basically fell apart - correct me if i'm wrong please.

 

Anyhow Mason is tough and this game is usually a hard fought game. I will take Mason in this one by 12 points

Boyd graduated a few last year. This year they have 21 or 22 seniors, along with a new head coach. Boyd is not as young as is being made out, they do however have a sophomore quarterback. Usually around the Russell time frame, the "I's" and "Me's" take over.

Last year's game was a shootout, something like 40-28. Mason had more offensive weapons last year, seem to rely more on defense this year. Most everybody seems to think this year's game will have less scoring, according to everyone's predictions.

I am picking Boyd in a tight one.
