The Professor
Robert Amis is the new coach Coached the past two years at Breathitt County. His dad, John Paul, was the coach at Buckhorn when they made back to back trips to the Sweet 16 in 1988 and 1989. So basketball coaching is in his family genes. BigVMan23
Robert Amis is the new coach Is he from the Henry County area originally? Jackson to Eminence is a pretty good haul, and to be honest I don't think most, if any would consider it a "step up" as far as a coaching stop goes. That leads me to think he is from or has family in the area.
2-3-Zone
^ No, from Perry County. Good luck, Coach Amis.

There's no job market, so nobody is moving there. He'll be 30 minutes from Louisville.

Eminence itself isn't, BUT, I get your point, he's a lot closer to where the action is and definitely much different from the mountain region. The Professor
So what did I miss. I was under the impression Mays got the job and now he's out? Where's he at and why? He was offered an assistant coaching job at Kentucky Wesleyan and accepted it.
