If she checks her swing and the ball hits her IN the strike zone it's a dead ball and a strike.

What if she didn't check her swing and it was a ball high and inside in the zone?

If you're saying she swung at the pitch ("didn't check her swing") then it doesn't matter where the pitch is if it hits her. It's a dead ball and a strike. If she had 2 strikes she now has 3.

Clyde...Isn't the hand considered part of the bat so if she swings and the ball goes foul, shouldn't it be a foul ball even though it hit her hand? I agree if it were to hit an arm or another part of the body it would be strike three.

Myth

I am not 100% convinced that she was swinging at the ball it was really not even a check swing but they said she made an attempt at the ball. It was not a strike But just more of a hands moving forward the barrel of the bad never attempted to come around the ball was high andthe inside and hit her hand.

Doesn't matter what the hands or the bat were "doing", but where the bat was. If any part of the bat is in the strike zone on an "offer", it is a strike.

 

Sounds as if the batter did not remove the bat from the zone in time...

As Clyde said, it's a myth. I've never seen a bat with hands ;-) The hands are part of the batters body.
