Chinese response to Syrian strike

Do you realize there is not one quote from Mr Xi in this piece?

But it does say this: "The Chinese president very rarely talks to the Chinese or foreign news media, making it almost impossible to determine his opinion about the attack or how he expressed it to Mr. Trump."

:lol2:

...So basically the Chinese State media formed their own opinion of Xi Jinping's thoughts and published it. Then of course, The Times runs with it like it's newsworthy.

And it is. All information is good.

And it is. All information is good.

Not really unless there are some facts involved. Otherwise it is just the opinions of people that likely don't have a clue how the meeting went. I can get all the opinions I want on BGP, which is great. News articles such as this one aren't worth the ink that was wasted to print them though.

Agree to disagree. There was good information throughout that article. When people begin to ignore and disavow information and education, they are walking down a path to uninformed decisions.

You realize it's state media right?

I read the entire article and I still feel like I am uninformed. It was basically an opinionated article from state media using analysts and professors to try and explain how Xi's meeting went. The article is against America in general, not just Trump.

It helps understand their mindset and viewpoints. It helps understand how things operate in China. For example, I found it interesting that their president almost never speaks to media.

"Any use of force or preemptive strikes against North Korea will carry huge ramifications, which would probably lead to a drastically different outcome compared to Syria," Wang said.

I wonder if Trump chose to launch the missile attack on Syria at that time on purpose?

Wang Dong doesn't know what he's talking about. China would be less likely to retaliate against us if we attacked that nut in North Korea than Russia would for attacking Syria.

I known that well before I read this article. Basically they don't like us and believe they are superior.

Typical NY Times hit piece..
