Johnson is the clear starting qb. Hoak is the back up right now.

I understand your hatred towards Drew Barker, but no where in that article you linked does it say he is the clear starter as you put it. It says he is working with the first string offense while Barker recovers from surgery. Good try though.

Read Barker is cleared to practice now and actually received about 10 snaps in the scrimmage this weekend. From all accounts Barker looked pretty good and led a TD drive.

 

1. Good Barker is back and practicing

 

2. Wasnt hard for very many QB's to not score a TD vs UK defense.

Drew is ahead of schedule. He says he's feeling pretty good. Scar tissue is breaking up which gives him more movement.

 

He will not play in the spring game.

 

If you saw his interview yesterday you can see a lot of excitement about being back. Ready to compete. Knows what's ahead of him.

 

He will graduate in August and enter the MBA program.

With his injury last year. Would he be one of those guys who theoretically could apply for a 6th year of eligibility? Or did the 2 full games he played last year cost him from applying for an additional year?

 

I ask because if say he doesn't win the job this year. Could he possibly do the grad transfer route after this year and play right away and possibly have 2 years left still?
