Totally missed my point. AC playing strong is vitally critical. That goes without saying. But the bigs have to exceed their norm. When they do, Bracken is formidable and a real 10th Regional threat.

The Polar Bears won't escape the 2nd round if they do make it past Harrison. The only reason they defeated the Camels in the regular season was the fact it was in the Igloo and from what I heard the Camels were playing 8 vs 5.

What I HEARD came from graduates and fans of Bracken County who were also at the game. So apparently someone needs glasses and to study the Rule book of basketball a bit more. One way or the other.

 

It's also quite funny how majority of the "big wins" for the Polar Bears come at home, don't think I've seen them beat a good team on the road. Take that for what it's worth.

Was at this game, and from what I saw, what you heard is pretty accurate. It was evident early and often the Camels weren't going to get an even whistle, but that's homecooking. Part of the game unfortunately.

I'm not a supporter of ether school, just an outside look into the game with no emotion involved. Clear that Campbell was the far better team that night, just couldn't get in a groove and rhythm. But this stuff happens at every gym once in a while.

If Bracken County doesn't show up to play they will get beat. Harrison County isn't. A bad team, they just have a bad record and are playing well right now.

You ever think people just get tired of hearing about how great and special this Bracken County group is and then all the excuses everyone makes for them when they lose?

 

I mean it's like someone said in one of the other threads, we've been hearing about how this group of seniors were gonna be the ones to end the Championship drought in Brooksville and how Hinson was gonna help them achieve that and here we are, no championship and thousands of thousands of excuses. Someone even went to the extent to blame Jacob Hamilton for their loss to Mason County because he quit to focus on his XC career.

 

It's not so much people having agendas and out to get Hinson or hate on Bracken as much as it is people being tired of hearing how spectacular Bracken County is when they aren't.

 

I picked Bracken to beat Mason and Harrison. I am not a pro-Mason County person or even an anti-Bracken County person, but someone who is fair and calls things how I see them. One way or another.
