Since Gonzaga became Gonzaga in 1999, they have made two Elite Eights in 17 years. The media and many fans get lulled into thinking they are better than what they are because of their conference. Kudos to them for dominating it like they have, and it is not their fault they get the annual praise, the Zags just need to deliver when it really counts. If they keep knocking on the door they are bound to break through at some point. It shocks me they have not made it at some point since they most often are given a high seed out west.

My point is it seems like every year we have the Zags shoved down our throat and they go no where come March. I just think everyone's hesitation to jump on that wagon is justified.

Oh I don't disagree with you, but the last two years they have had some success in the tourney, but definitely seem to be a team you can pencil in for one win in the tourney and not much else after going 29-2 in the regular season. They did beef up the non conference schedule but I'm still not sold on them myself
