He even says the reason he told them all to stand up was because he saw a younger boy not really into it. This is what is wrong with this country these days. All he said was girls are suppose to be polite and quiet spoken and well mannered (which they should, i only hope my daughter has those qualities) then of course leave it up to people to make something out of nothing. No need to put one group down just to build another up. I don't want anyone telling my girl to be quiet. Tell her she is a powerful young lady and should stand up for herself and be strong. I want her to voice her opinions and shout out to the world that she can do anything! Don't you dare tell her that she should be quiet and submissive.

Again to no surprise taken out of context, he was describing a little girl, little girls are normally pretty quiet or soft spoken, very polite and sweet, that is how I would think a well raised little girl would act. For the hundredth time, this speech was for the boys to get them excited and involved. I personally do not want my little girl jumping and yelling and foaming at the mouth like some little boys do, so take it as you want, but this was blown entirely out of proportion just to get some attention for the NFL because they have no stories right now.

Exactly my point, if this was reversed and a woman was telling the girls how strong they and that the guys are animals and this and that, nobody would bat an eye, people are so ridiculously sensitive and soft these days it is no wonder why the NFL is turning into flag football. :bunny:

Girls are not "supposed to be" quiet at any age. They can do anything you or I can do.

 

It's unbelievable we have to even discuss this in this day and age.

It was a classroom setting, I doubt that any one of those girls cared about what was going on, or even listening, but I am willing to bet everyone of those little boys had their year made and got fired up about life, which very few people in this world do now a days. I get it all the equality issues in the world, but my intentions were to simply say this was blown out of proportion and Jameis is looking a bad guy for no reason other than some media story.
