This!

First time I've seen him play. Great athlete, super quick, but he got some very favorable calls early. Knows how to move his body to get into position or out of danger.

So...you agree that he was catered to, but he knows how to move his body to get into position ?

I've said this before, the "stars" seem to get favorable calls. Officials make sure they stay in games.

I bet you don't say that when your guy gets the call. :ohbrother:

He is smooth for sure. And he is very skilled at moving to avoid contact and to have contact initiated. Since he does it so well it makes it very easy for officials to give him the benefit of the doubt. Lots of great players get the calls.

IMO he charged on the 2 plays in question.

Scott was much quicker than Brossart causing some early fouls. Second half was officiated totally different. Not saying they didn't do a good job (which they did) or homered anyone but it seemed the second half had 3 new refs doing the game. They were calling the same style for both teams in each half. The first half, the style of play and officiating benefited Scott, the second half I thought it benefited Brossart.

I was just agreeing with the poster that good players get the benefit. It happens at every level.

And by the way refs can occasionally make a bad call even though you don't believe they can. And I'm not going to take my class and buy a striped shirt and go do a game.

Fairly sensitive this AM aren't we ? I just asked a question. Never said anything one way or the other, just looking for clarification. No need for a "BTW", I never said bad calls can't be made either.

For the record, you wouldn't have to buy a shirt...I got some your size :ylsuper:

That one would fit me. I had to put one on at the barn to help out one game. I'm sure that shirt looked really good on me. I think it was one Weiner left there after a game.

I bet you rocked that half shirt! :lol2:
