Several are making the coaches and referees pay to enter the games this year, how does your school handle this issue

I think that is standard operating procedure.

I have been to multiple gyms in 5 different regions this season and they have always honored my pass. I finally qualified for my lifetime plastic coaches card this season. lol

Anderson Co. even honored it in the district tournament last season.

12th region honors the cards for district and regional play, but it is only good for the card holder.

State passes accepted in 1st region.

10th region does not honor them when at Mason CO.

The back of the Coaches Pass reads......."Your KHSCA membership card is honored throughout the state for free admissions to "some" regular season high school athletic events as well as some college events."

District and Regional events at just about all 9th Region schools do not honor Coaches Pass.

15th Region honors all coaches and ref passes for all regular season games but not for post season play.

I have been able to get into all regular season events I've been to this year. I've been to mostly 10th and 11th region gyms. Holiday tournaments typically don't accept the pass. I used to be able to get a guest into most games, but it seems like less are allowing that this season.

How many years does that take?

How many years does that take?

I was told on mine it was a combination of over 27 years teaching and 20+ years of purchasing a coaches card. I didn't inquire about it when my school sent in the request they said I qualified for the lifetime pass and sent it. It is a hard plastic card like a credit card.

It is sad it has come to this.
