AJ Mayer. Cov Cath. Will be a senior and has some D-1 offers, and I believe more to come. Very smart and hard working young man.

Mayer could have a great year. I believe CovCath lost some key Oline players to graduation. Hope they can get those spots filled well and give Mayer the protection to have another great season.

Just seen on Twitter that Ryle QB Jake Smith won the QBEpic Campwide QB Crossbar Challenge. There was a picture of him and Trent Dilfer. I believe this took place Saturday down in Cartersville, GA. Smith is 6'2 170 and will be a Junior next year.

Replacing Tanner Morgan is a challange, but this kid is a excellent athlete. Morgan worked with Jake very closely. He and His parents are very committed to his improvement. Very strong desire to be Ryle's next QB and be a successful one at that. He will definitely surprise some people. I actually believe that the challenge that comes with replacing Morgan is motivating him. Replacing the Man is hard, replacing the man that replaces the man is much easier. Jake seems to relish in the opportunity. Very impressive to me in my opinion. Great Kid, and love his Family !!!

Give me Burch.. The kid is a playmaker and tough as nails.. I hope to see my Hazard team get a rematch.
