I comprehend you don't like coach Schrand. Did you not like him last year? I guess he forgot how to coach and the players last year carried him? He has one bad loss and that's St. Henry. Holy Cross is not as talented as you think they are. Not knocking the kids, they are not a bad team but you seem to think they should play with everybody.

They have way way over achieved this year ! Watched them against Cov Cath Dixie and Cooper not one kid would play from HC on those three teams not one . Schrand against zones I could see.

I don't know about nuff said, but I know 5 of those kids on that team better than anyone of HC's coaches, and definately better than any one of you all on here. They have achieved far greater success than they ever did playing for Schrand. None of this five play for him like they do for their AAU coach. Part of it is to do with the way HC coaches wants to play the game. Part of it is they are not put in the roles they need to be playing. Part of it is they are tired of the same crap. That applies to all the players except maybe a couple. The five I am talking about along with a few others,have played against the best in KY, Ohio, Indiana and from other states. Yes they lost to those hand-picked teams, but not by as much as you would think. They also won some against some of the top ranked over the years. Do any of you realize that Barnes was not a starter on his AAU team but Meinze was? Meinze is a better all around basketball player than Barnes.And they both played 5 for the most part. Williams never turned the ball over for us like he does for HC. Abernathy can score driving and shooting. Lemier for the last two years gave Meinze and Barnes a break when they needed it and provided good minutes when he was on the floor. But only Williams and Barnes see the floor mostly for HC. Yes some AAU teams are not that good, and some are phenomenal. We were never phenomenal, but our win percentage was around 80. As for the rest of the kids on the Indian roster, including the five mentioned, none are phenomenal basketball players. But as a whole they have 10 pretty good players, while most teams have just a couple great players and the rest are average. As witness to the many losses that came by less than five points, this team could have easily flipped the record they have. So for all of you who think you know this team because you watched a few games, you are wrong plain and simple.

I have seen them plenty and if they were that good they wouldn't be that bad in high school . Problem is you think they play aau . They play junk aau . If they don't play in the shoe leagues which they don't it isn't real aau . Name one of those kids that plays at cooper or cov cath or Dixie ?

I love the AAU thing. Just because your kid plays AAU doesn't mean he is a star and that's the same with club Vball as well. Playing AAU helps but it doesn't make you a star so people need to chill on the AAU thing.

I said nobody on the team is phenomenal. You and nkybasketball dont understand what you read.
