Lynn Camp 22-14.

The Camp will be at full strength(as close as it can be) for the first time all year. Cats roll at home 31-13........DraonQB4 what is your take on the game??

 If the camp gets 31 points on the Dragon D from a one dimensional offense, the Dragons will certainly have blown up defensively.

Not really totally one dimesional right now, but close. It has worked over the years to some sucess, also.

While this offense has worked over the years, here is an interesting fact concerning Harlan's defense against Lynn Camp over the past few years. Harlan has let up an average of only 19 points per game against Lynn Camp in the last five meetings (2001 season till the present). If you want to find out when the last time Lynn Camp scored more than 30 points on Harlan you will have to go back further than the KHSAA scoreboard will allow you to go (before 1998). While Harlan has had a few 30 plus point games against Lynn Camp in that time, it is interesting to know that in those last eight years Harlan has won 5 games and Lynn Camp has won 4. So I will say that this game will be very close and can go either way. But as for those people who are predicting Lynn Camp scoring over 30 points against this Harlan team... it is very doubtful. Look for a close, LOW scoring game.

It's on U.S. 25E, to the left, about a mile out of Corbin on the way to Barbourville.

This could be a very close game...

Harlan - 29

Lynn Camp - 24

I agree, Waggle. The last few times we have played each other, 2004/2005, the game was a blow out, one for each. '03 was decided in O.T. The norm for this game every year has been slug-it-out football and whoever wanted it the most got it. Harlan almost always has a very solid defensive team, but some years the offense is hit and miss. LC has played the same type of football on both sides of the ball for almost 30 years. This is usually a very entertaining game. Both are scoring at about the same click, but Harlan is giving up A LOT fewer points. Hard to compare games, though, with no common opponent. the closest I have seen is Harlan buried Hazard, who beat PCC by, I think, 4 points, and then LC blew out PCC. Friday will tell the tale, I guess.

My favorite game on the schedule is here. I enjoy the LC/Harlan game more then any other, because these two teams are always big, strong, and physical. For LC to win the game the line will have to do the job. Harlan has a great front, and LC will have to run the football to be succesful. I would love to see LC be able to put long drives together to keep that much improved Harlan offense off the field. Lynn Camp will need a good job at defending the pass, and keeping the qb in the pocket, teams that have beaten LC the qb has had a big game running. Bottom line in this game, the team that wins in the trenches walks out of this one in great shape for at least one home playoff game. Round 2 could be the first of Nov.
