Also, from host Al Mayo:

Hey folks--it's been great using all the nominees (last year) week after week on the show, and we'll continue to use them for the foreseeable future. I wanted to remind you of a couple things. When you nominate a player, I need his height, weight, and class designation (Freshman, Sophomore, Etc). I also need the stats to be correct. Just telling me it looked like he ran for over a hundred yards won't do it. Please include all pertinent numbers like carries, pass attempts, completions, yardage gained, number of tackles--you all understand what I need. Otherwise, I have to track these numbers down. Not that I mind doing the legwork, but I normally save this part of the show for last, so I can take nominees until the last possible hour, so I just don't have the time to look it all up. I'll usually pull the information from here by Thursday afternoon, so try to have your candidates nominated by about 2:00pm Thursdays. I couldn't be happier with the information you've all provided, and I'm looking forward to continuing our association with BGP!

KNN High School Scoreboard Show

Joe Roskopf (5'10 185 JR) of Lynn Camp high school, had 38 carries for 424 yards and 5 tds in Lynn Camp's 52 to 14 win over Pineville.

Cory Robinson (6'1" 180 Jr.) QB for Lone Oak. He was 22 of 28 for 352 yards, 4 TD's, he had 94 yards rushing with 3 TD's in Lone Oak's 49 to 26 win over Heath.

Clark Jeter (6-0 170 SR) Henry Clay caught 10 passes for 209 yards and 5 TDs in a 43-42 victory over Scott County. Jeter's 19 yard TD pass reception with 1:24 remaining in the game tied the score at 42-42 allowing Chase Minnifield to kick the winning PAT.

Clint Green (6'1 224lb ) tail back. Clark running back Clint Greene rushed for a school-record 273 yards and scored six touchdowns .

Ben Revere had 2 tds with one a punt return. He had an interception, and came up with many, many key deflections at the end of the game.

Last week's KNN Scoreboard Show/Bluegraas Preps.com Player Of The Week was Ashland's Jr. RB Matt Thomas. Thomas had 18 carries 174 yards 3 TD's - 1 Reception 12 yards - One interception return of 80 yards for a TD. Plus 11 tackles on Defense. 4 Total TD's in a 35-12 win over previously undefeated Portsmouth West (OH).

I need the schools for the last two guys listed....

Chris Maggard, North Laurel. Led his Jaguars to an upset win over South Laurel and to 1-0 in district play with his 4th straight 100 yard+ rushing game. Had 3 TD's, a 2-pt PAT run, 1 interception, a team leader on defense in tackles, punts, kicks off, returns punts and kicks, and kicks PAT's & FG's as well. He has become the senior leader NL needed to step up and lead his Jags back into the playoff hunt.

knnal,

Ben Revere is a stud DB from Lexington Catholic and may be the top DB in the state.

Clint Green is a RB from George Rogers Clark (Clark County) but I have not seen him play.

Thanks---I just had a complete vapor lock on those for some reason....
