March 30, 20179 yr This proves again that Fickell gets what it takes to coach at UC. He is building strong relationships with all of the high schools surrounding UC. Love this! He got on me yesterday because he saw me yawn during practice. I've been at every second of every practice this spring, I yawned once and he caught it. The dude is sharp... :lol2:
April 2, 20179 yr Went over to the scrimmage at Elder yesterday. Nice event. Fickell is really working hard to connect his program with local schools and their fan base. Like what he is doing.

April 6, 20179 yr Author Scrimmage game is going to be in Nippert Stadium they will have a fish fry also and beer gardern. Gates open at 5:30 next Friday only 5 dollars for parking.
April 14, 20179 yr The University of Cincinnati has announced details for its annual spring football game, which will be Friday at 7 p.m. at Nippert Stadium under first-year coach Luke Fickell. Admission is free. Parking will available for $5 per car in Corry and Calhoun garages. Participating sponsors include Nissan, Hearing Solutions, Mr. Roof, Megabus, Amazon, Noodles & Company and Two Men & A Truck. Several activities are scheduled around the game, with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. A fish fry will take place between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. at Stadium View Café underneath the video board. Fried cod sandwiches will be on sale for $5. For $7, patrons can get a sandwich, cole slaw and a side. Sides will consist of fresh-cut potato chips, mac-n-cheese and green beans. Extra sides cost $1 apiece and cookies will be on sale for $2. Local band Brother Smith, presented by Pepsi, will be playing on Bearcats Plaza adjacent to the West Pavilion and Tangeman University Center from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and again during halftime. Inflatables for kids of all ages will be on McMicken Commons. A Rhinegeist Beer Garden will be set up at Stadium View and Bearcats Plaza. The UC marching band will be in attendance and playing from the Bearcat Lair in the north end zone. The Bearcat mascot, cheer and dance teams also will be on hand. Season ticket holders who renewed by March 31 are eligible to watch the spring game from the third floor of the West Pavilion. Eligible patrons will receive an email with instructions. To take advantage of this first-come, first served option, you must RSVP with the athletics ticket office. On gameday, the club level will open at 6 p.m. Concessions and beverages will be available for purchase. The first 200 students who purchase or already have renewed their 2017 season ticket will receive a wristband and have access to watch the game from the on-field notches in the southwest and southeast corners. Staff from the athletics ticket office will be positioned on the concourse behind the student section in the south end zone for students who want to make their purchase on site.
