March 22, 20179 yr Hate to say it, but I am not excited by this one bit: Braxton Brewing expanding into former Ei8ht Ball Brewing space - Story I can understand if you don't prefer Braxton but they are going to offer other products. I'm sure they'll have the best of the best, their leadership is pretty aggressive.

I initially disliked it for several reasons: 1) I was hoping that maybe something from out of the area would open up a 2nd location there. 2) For the most part I feel like Braxton's beers are very medicore. Since I posted, I learned that they plan to still have guest beers on tap, which I was pleased to hear. I drank guest beers at that spot, more than Ei8htball's. Also learned that they are potentially using this location for expirimentals and to maybe broaden the scope of what they produce, cause I don't feel like their beers have been all that great.

I've only had their beers at the Brewery w/ the Nitro. I'm not a fan of Nitro infused beer. Of the Kentucky crews, West 6th is still my favorite.

Also...just saying...the brewery is built into Louisville Slugger Stadium and FC Cincinnati will be in town playing Louisville City on Saturday, July 15th.
March 31, 20179 yr Author Tomorrow, at 11pm, she'll close her doors for good. Bums me out. I've stopped in a couple times this month and might drop into tomorrow. Sucks but that's business.
