January 17, 20179 yr In the field of recorded music, a hidden track (sometimes called a secret track or ghost track) is a piece of music that has been placed on a CD, audio cassette, LP record or other recorded medium in such a way as to avoid detection by the casual listener. In some cases, the piece of music may simply have been left off the track listing, while in other cases more elaborate methods are used. In rare cases a "hidden track" is actually the result of an error that occurred during the mastering stage of the record's production. So what is/are some of your favorites? Mine comes from Journey's 1996 album, "Trial By Fire". Following the 14th and final song on the album, Trial By Fire, there is 45 seconds of silence before the hidden track, "Baby I'm a Leavin' You". Journey goes Reggae.
January 17, 20179 yr This is a damn good question, and I remember years ago being intrigued by the whole idea of the hidden track, but I'm drawing a complete blank trying to recall which of my CD's have them. I should have started a list years ago whenever I bought a disc that had one.
January 17, 20179 yr Nirvana had "Endless, Nameless" on Nevermind. It kicks in about 15 minutes after "Something in the Way" is over and scared me to death the first time.

January 17, 20179 yr Author "Train In Vain (Stand By Me)"-The Clash from "London Calling" AWESOME tune
January 17, 20179 yr The only one I've found on a rap album is the Lyrical Exercise/Girls, Girls, Girls Pt. 2 combo on The Blueprint by Jay Z. Girls Pt. 2 is one of my favorite Kanye-produced tracks. Green Day had the goofy one at the end of Dookie called All By Myself that sounded like Ernie from Sesame Street sang. Those are the only two I'm aware of finding.
January 17, 20179 yr Author "Train In Vain (Stand By Me)"-The Clash from "London Calling" The song was not originally listed on the album's track listing, appearing as a hidden track at the end of the album. This was because the track was added to the record at the last minute, when the sleeve was already in production. Some editions include the song in the track listing. It was the first Clash song to reach the United States Top 30 charts and in 2004, the song was ranked number 298 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. In the US, the song's title is expanded to "Train in Vain (Stand by Me)", as the words "stand by me" dominate the chorus. It was titled "Train in Vain" in part to avoid confusion with Ben E. King's signature song "Stand by Me".
