December 20, 20169 yr In this country with our wealth I believe it is. But you are not alone. It goes back to what I have said in previous posts the GOP cares more about none than people. Not criticizing, that just isn't the way I believe. I'm all for people. Insurance is not a basic human right, that's simply the way I believe. It doesn't matter how much wealth our country has. One person's wealth does not belong to another. What you earn is not mine, nor mine yours. I won't ask for yours, should you be allowed to ask for mine?
December 20, 20169 yr So a young mom who doesn't have insurance because the privatization of health insurance is too expensive for her doesn't get health care for her baby. She'll just chance it. Baby dies. You just going to write that off as survival of the fittest? There are many that do believe this way, I have talked to them in discussions about. Just blows my mind. I will NEVER support punishing or hurting children for what their parents cannot or will not do. NEVER. Now adults that is a different story. iF they choose not to take it they are on their own.

One person's wealth does not belong to another. What you earn is not mine, nor mine yours. I won't ask for yours, should you be allowed to ask for mine? It's not your belief it is a fact. In our constitution we have no right to health care. We have a right to pursue happiness we do not have a right to results. Some people preach they want freedom , some in this thread , but in reality they don't by their very statements.
December 20, 20169 yr Author Medicad exist for the child, the mother is an adult. Correct. Seeing how committed he is to survival of the fittest. If he wants govt completely out of it that's what would go with it.

But I compromise on my principles to protect those who can't help themselves. The elderly and the very young. But even then within many limitations. I don't think the mother should benefit from having a child with other peoples money regardless.

You can't say you want to protect the child but not allow the mother to benefit. Is welfare an example of the mother benefiting?
December 21, 20169 yr You can't say you want to protect the child but not allow the mother to benefit. Is welfare an example of the mother benefiting? Sure you can. In KY you can get Medicaid for a child without the parent having it.
December 21, 20169 yr Author Sure you can. In KY you can get Medicaid for a child without the parent having it. I didn't ask about Medicaid(although the mother is benefiting by not paying out of her pocket). I'm asking about welfare. Is the mother benefiting?

December 21, 20169 yr Other peoples wealth doesn't determine another persons right. That isn't how freedom works. The country's wealth not individuals
