The Challenge of Replacing Obamacare

Featured Replies

Easy to be callous when speaking of someone else's child. Gets a bit closer to home when your child is mentioned.

That's why I do not believe anything you say about letting a child die. No person with a heart could truly believe in that .

Clyde the fact you want to blame anyone 8n this scenario besides the parent just shows the huge divide in philosphy. You look at the government as a parent who has all the answers and will fix your problems. I believe the individual has the answers and the government creates more problems.

In response to me clarifying that you would let a child die instead of giving aid to the mother who is not able to provide:

I haven't wavered from my position.

We need to stop with the handouts.

Yes, life's not fair. It's the cold, hard, tragic reality of the world.

You were very clear that it would be unfortunate the child died but.. in your words "life's not fair."

Don't try to backtrack now that you've been called out.

I never said anything about letting a child die. You did.

Government aide (welfare) should not exist regardless of the scenario IMO. That's all I said. You proceeded to threaten me.

And you call me an embarrassment to my faith? Look in the mirror why don't ya?

I'm not backtracking. We were discussing government aide. I would not provide government aide.

Incorrect. I look at the govt as a last line of defense for certain cases. Unlike UKMF I'm not saying "life's not fair" and letting a child suffer/die when the mom can't help. I'm not letting a child die, unlike UKMF, just because I have a economic principle that says govt creates more problems. Fix the problems WHILE saving the child. It's not either/or.

That's not a political philosophy. That's being a human being.

You still butthurt? Still feel like beating me up if we're ever in a room together?

You saying you're not giving aid IS saying you're letting the child die. Own it.

Not giving as in the government. Not that difficult to figure out.

Not giving as in the government. Not that difficult to figure out. Of course, I wouldn't expect someone like you could logically comprehend what I'm saying.

Already presented you with the scenario that no one else is able to help. You then said "life isn't fair. " Clear as day.
