December 19, 20169 yr Just another typical 2nd half collapse by the Bengals after letting the other team stay close at halftime. Had the offense put up tds instead of fgs in the 1st half the game would have been 28-9 at half but after having great field position twice first and goal inside the 10 they tried to run the ball twice on each posession and settled for fgs. Time to go Marvin. Welcome to the site JHA
December 19, 20169 yr How can you not put this on Dalton??? All you Dalton lovers answer me this. What has Dalton ever done????? Seriously what has he ever done to continually get a free pass from everyone. He has hardly ever done anything in crunchtime in his entire career against a good team to get us a win when we are either barely leading g or behind. He is so horrible. He has had plenty of time to prove himself. He can't carry AJ McCarron's jock. He chokes every game against any good team in the 2nd half. Bengals are now something like 1-12-1 in the last 14 games against teams with winning records yet you all continue to defend a loser who has never done anything but beat bad teams in his career. Man did you watch AJ play last year? He wasn't any better than Dalton. In fact he was worse. The Bengals were arguably the best team in the AFC before Dalton went down last year. I don't dislike AJ at all. I think he is a good QB. But to say Andy can't hold his jock is a joke.

He was so much better than AD has been against good teams. Not even close. People seem to forget the schedule we had last year. AD had the best season he ever had last year but still played against bad teams until the 2nd half of the season. It wasnt as if he beat great teams etc last year. Go look at that schedule again folks. There was a reason they had a good record. It's because they had a cake schedule. Edited December 19, 20169 yr by Hellbird
December 19, 20169 yr Why do I think AJ would be a better fit? Because he already proved in college and last year in limited playing time he is a much better leader. He also proved in the playoff game he could do several things that Andy Dalton never could do in 4 prior years in the playoffs and that is lead the team back from a huge deficit and get the team in position to win a playoff game with a min left in the game. Dalton has never even had a lead in the post season that I can remember. Proved it in college? What does that matter? He most certainly did not prove he was a better leader. I think all you remember from the playoff game last year is the TD throw to AJ Green which was more of a great play by green than a great throw by AJ. I'm not the biggest Andy Dalton fan in the world, but you're acting like AJ came in last year and tore it up like Dak did this year.

In the 4th qtr? I can't think of a single playoff game that Dalton ever had the lead in. For all you Dalton fans, do me a favor. Here is your chance to prove he is as great as you all claim he is. Just post his career record against teams with a winning record. Ready...Go!
December 19, 20169 yr You all have been bashing me for years about Dalton, yet last I checked he still has 0 wins in the post season and a losing record against teams above .500 and the same Dalton apologists still claim he is great.

I haven't bashed you buddy, just disagreed. He is not great but very good.

There are tons of great college QB's that never panned out in the NFL. I'm going to need some more from you than he was great in college. You know who else was really good in college? Andy Dalton.

You know who else was really good in college? Andy Dalton. 2 National Championships as a starting qb and 3 Natl Champioship rings is a pretty good start. How many college qbs can claim that? Last I checked Andy Dalton didn't even get to a Natl Championship game.
December 19, 20169 yr Hill messed up touching the terrible towel! Pittsburgh Steelers to Cincinnati Bengals' Jeremy Hill: Careful of the Curse of the Terrible Towel Didnt he say he was just going to give the football to the official this year. I really hope they get rid of Hill, he is not an NFL Running back.
December 19, 20169 yr I understand you don't like Andy Dalton. But why the love for AJ Mccarron? I understand he is the back up and the back up is the most loved player on the team. But what has AJ proved to you that he is head and shoulders above Andy? There were 9 other quarterbacks taken before him so many other NFL teams did not have a good feeling about him. He came into the game with Pitt last year, for a 10-2 team, midway through the first quarter and they lost that game. Andy was having an MVP type season last year when he got hurt. AJ lost the Pit game and then backed it up going 2-2 down the stretch. So, why do you think AJ is the savior for this team? Not going to speak for @Hellbird but AJ wins games when it counts. Andy doesnt.
