It probably has more to do with their fear of the Royals than anything. It takes a lot of years of beatdowns to create a defeatest mentality to parallel what the Polar Bear faithful demonstrate so loudly. Take Augusta's path and beat the Royals a few times and their Royal paranoia will be gone. With it will disappear the continual cry-babying over no seeding.

 

By the way, I am and personally have always favored seeding, because I see that is in the best interest of Ky. HS basketball. However, every school official has the responsibility to do what is best for their kids and their program....not some one else's kids and their program. Therefore, Augusta and St. Patricks' votes are highly respected and deservedly cast as they evaluate it. The "no-seeding" cry-babies need to get over it and give Hinson a chance to beat the Royals without the constant, whiny baggage no-seeding diatribes that demonstrates no confidence to the players and coaching staffs and perpetuates a defeat before the opening tap. They simply create a re-focus that supersedes the next game priority.

It's been debated before, but if someone was to start a new thread about, should there be the traditional paper programs at the Sweet 16 or not, would you chime in? Perhaps stating why you think there should be? Maybe defending your stance? Or would that just be whining and crying?

Touche'. How could you have remembered my passionate arguments? Makes me feel much better knowing someone actually read this oldman's whing and crying about those programs. Man I miss them. Missed them at football championships this year, too.

I'd take your top 5 and make them 1a-e and then just rotate the names as games are played weekly. Although Bourbon seems to be the least consistent in that group any if them could be ranked #1 depending upon what day and week it is....... ultimately, it'll be whoever is playing the best and most consistently when it's tournament time.
