There will be some really good games this weekend at Mercer Co. for the 1st Annual KY Premier Challenge. Here is the schedule:

I'll bite on this one. What teams are overrated? They all seem pretty legit to me, not to say Murray shouldn't be in that group as well. Lots of talent in the state of Kentucky girls prep basketball.

Your are entitled to your opinion an so am I. I've covered and watched this Murray team for a couple yrs now. I just feel they do get over looked sometimes. Hey, I don't have a dog in the race but there are a top 3 team n the state to me!!!

Murray would be a dog vs any of the top 5 teams right now. When Waldrop gets back, things could potentially change.

A dog means they wouldn't be favored. They would certainly have a chance against anybody. They have some great players.

Murray is very good. Just ask Franklin County. Turley is one of the best guards in the state. Burpo and Mayes add to that. When Waldrop gets back they will be even stronger.

Murray can prove their medal this coming Saturday when they take on Butler. That should be a good game!

and how good will they be when she gets back? It will take her a while to get back in the groove but the other players are growing more and more while she is out.

It is hard to know. Some players are never the same after knee injuries, some come back stronger and better. Only time will tell.
