Democrats Let these Maps and Numbers sink in

Featured Replies

Amazing isn't it? Despite the media being completely liberal and controlling all our thoughts. Despite rampant voter rigging and fraud by Democrats. Despite immigrants overrunning the nation and committing horrible crimes. Despite fixed elections and voting machines controlled by Soros. Despite all of that and more conspiracies against them than I can post here, they have accomplished that. How did they do it in the face of all those obstacles? Just amazing.

You forgot dead voters. Rolls and rolls of them.

They work harder than everyone else.
:thumb: :lol2:

"They were on a mission." "They just wanted it more."

(PP, I'm not making fun of you; I'm joining in! :D )

"NO PRISONERS!"

I remember on this board in 2008 there were a few Democrat posters who said the GOP is dead and would never recover. I remember pushing back and got laughed at.

Heck there were posters on this site up until election night this year who thought the GOP would never win the presidency in the immediate future.

But like I said in 2008 , the congress and Senate always flip back at some point. Democrats aren't dead they will be back. But it won't be in 2018. Based on Nancy Pelosi vote the Democrat party still hasn't done it's soul searching yet and the Democrats will lose Senate seats based on the seats that are up. Brown in Ohio will be gone.

So I agree with those on the left they will be back. It's just the democrats first have to change their message. But as of now they are still blaming the voters and not looking at themselves. Until then the red momentum will continue.

Why this map in 2016 isn't important.

When disappointment sets in(and it will, it always does) the colors will change. Again.

I agree the map will eventually flip. It always does. So on that premise we agree. It won't in 2018. It might in 2020. Depends if we see a leadership change and who runs for the Democrats.

On a side note. Paul Krugman is the worst. He is wrong way more than he is right. He is such a demagogue and has no clue how the white working class feels. He is the poster child of the white liberal elitist who those voter despise.

The one stat I have pointed out since 2010 was every election the white working class vote kept trending more and more to the GOP. You didn't say this but a few posters told me how it was irrelevant, but as we have come to realize it was the most relevant stat. I don't know what policies the democrats have or can run on that will flip that switch.

If democrats are smart someone like Corey Booker will be the 2020 nominee, but I have a feeling it will nominate Elizabeth Warren and lose.

Nope, not going blue anytime soon. Not when the lefts major policy wins are confusing Americans on which bathrooms to use and such nonsense. The government has no business in social interactions and norms. That is not their place. Bathroom useage is not what our tax money should be spent on. Social politicism is not what the majority of America wants. Don't need liberals telling me what I have to think and accept or I'll be called all kinds of names and legislated against. Fix the economy, keep us safe here. That's it. The left forgot that. Government is not the solution it's the problem. I understand that most of you don't get that. It's called self reliability and responsibility.

Not to ruin a good rant or anything, but you do know the bathroom issue came about because Republican legislatures decided to codify "social interactions"

I would argue it became an issue when the current adminstrations Department of Education threatened to cut funding to school districts who didn't follow their direction on transgender bathrooms in schools.

I did say government has no business. That goes for republicans also. Good thing I'm a conservative and not either of the smelly clubs. Free thinking is lost on the parties and discouraged. The libs in the federal left took that notion to the extreme just like south carolina did. There is a difference between States making local laws and federal mandates for the whole the country. I don't believe we need that type of intrusion in our lives. It gets worse from here. For the record I'm not for businesses discriminating against anyone even for religious beliefs.

Agree with all of this and I don't know anything about Krugman. Intriguing article though.

He was a world class economist many moons ago. He actually did some decent work at one point a long time ago. But he quit using economics for his points and just became another political talking head. I have an almost irrational dislike for him lol.

I can disagree but respect economist who abide to a different discipline or Ideology than me , but Krugman quit using Economics to make arguments years ago.

That's why I said a side note , I have a lot of feelings towards him.

Remember for those who don't care because it will change, is that there is a very good chance that President Elect Trump will get to nominate at least two or maybe more Supreme Court Justices in the next four years. If indeed the new President gets to nominate that many new Justices into the Supreme Court, even if it does change, those Supreme Justices will change the face of the USA for many, many more years than just a few.

This could be true but for me personally I am not as overly concerned with the Supreme Court justices as most people are. I will continue to follow the laws of the land and how they interpret the constitution. They have earned the right to apply their interpretations of the constitution for us all. I'm good with that whomever it may be who gets that swing vote.

I never got that forcing someone to buy health insurance mandate is a tax and lawful as decided by the scotus. Everyones price is different so that's not taxation it's a wealth penalty. I benefit by having a family of six but for some it's insane. And if you can't afford it here is a bill you can't afford and you still dont have healthcare? That's why the scotus is so important. They missed big time on that one.
