As a stats nerd I would be very interested to see how Fort Campbell's success has trended depending on the political party in control of the White House or in Congress.

 

I wonder if there is a correlation? Obviously the more funding and more active the military is the more active the base will be.

I remember they were also very strong back in the 80s and late 70's. Seems like a correlation with the "Second Cold War" era.

 

Fort Knox also had some success too... may not be any correlation at all..but would be interesting to see.

This. Coming from this area, I think a better correlation would be times of war rather than political party.
