He is a golf genius and arguably the best iron player and short game player of all time. It amazes me that he is not a great driver of the ball... that he cannot figure it out. He could always hit it far and early in his career, straighter than now. It just does not make sense to me...

He could always hit it far and early in his career, straighter than now. It just does not make sense to me...Ironically, he seemed to get worse yesterday as he tired. But initially he piped his driver.
December 5, 20169 yr I'm just glad he played four rounds. As one of the two remaining all-time great athletes (Serena) of the formative years of my sports addiction, I can't ask for much more. Another major would be icing, but as long as he's still on the course on Sunday for another handful of years, I'll be thrilled.

If the back holds up OK, the rest will take care of itself. I don't think he will ever be what he was but if healthy, he can be a top ten player who is a threat to win every time he tees it up. The key is health though...
