Besides the first Drive, the defense has played well and gave the offense great field position. However the offense has 3 straight 3 and outs, no wonder the defense seems to be getting tired.

They have 25 sacks in 8 games tied for 5th worse in the league and the other 4 teams ahead of them have already played 9 or 10 games. So the O-line is not doing a very good job at all this season. Even more interesting is that going into tonight's game the Bengals had given up 25 sacks and that is already as many as they allowed all of last season.

I think its probably just time to move on. The great teams around the league prioritize the team over relationships. Hopefully William Jackson will be able to step in next year. But with the development, or lack thereof, of Dre and Denard I'm not so sure.
