Shai Alexander Commits to Kentucky

Featured Replies

4-star PG in the 2017 class.

Kentucky offered on Halloween, he visited on the 4th, and committed today.

Ranked #44 according to ESPN, #53 by Rivals, #46 by Scout, and #43 by 247sports.

That gives Kentucky 3 commits in the 2017 class thus far.

Is he in the main PG target for 2017? Seems more like a 3-4 year player than what Cal typically gets at PG.

No way I don't seem him as the typical Cal PG. I think Cal goes hard after Trae Young out of Norman, OK. If he can get him away from OU.

Still growing 6'10 wingspan.

Matt Jones said the same thing this morning on his talk show.

Trae Young is the #1 PG target. Alexander is more of CG than a PG.

gametime, have you seen this kid play?

For UK fans wanting to see him play in person, Hamilton Heights plays IMG Academy (Trevon Duval- 2017 top 5 6'3 PG, Silvio De Sousa- 2018 Top 5 6'9 F, and Emmitt Williams- 2018 top 50 6'8 F) January 13th at 8:15 in Dayton at the Flyin to the Hoop.
