Pittsburgh 43 Clemson 42

Their lives caught up with them.

Helluva home win for Pittsburgh. I guess Clemson doesn't travel well or something. Way to get it done in Pittsburgh by the Panthers. :thumb:

About time. Deshaun Watson turns the ball over WAY too much and their defense cant stop anyone. They just aren't the same team as last year.

There is sarcasm in there and I think I know who it's directed at, or maybe I'm just reading too much into it. Haha

Does this help or hurt Louisville?

Huh? It was at Clemson wasn't it?

No one behind UL was going to pass them. Then they weren't going to pass the teams in front of them without help. Imo this helps them. The committee will have to decide which one they weigh more. Clemsons head to head win over UL or Clemsons bad lost.

To be determined.

Surely not. No way Clemson would lose to a team like Pitt at Death Valley. Clemson NEVER loses at Death Valley. It's the most dangerous place for opposing football teams to play it. Surely this game was in Pittsburgh. No way Clemson loses at Death Valley. No way in hell.

Will be interesting. Arguments could be made either way.

UofL off to a slow start again. This loss will probably wind up not meaning that much to Clemson if I had to guess. May fire them up a bit.

Kind of reminds me of the tcu Baylor thing from a few years ago. Baylor beat TCU but had a bad lost, and so the committee kept putting TCU ahead of them still.

This was good for the big 10. If OSU can beat Michigan and then win the big 10 championship. We could possibly have 2 big 10 teams make it. In both OSU and Michigan.

I agree. We all think Clemson and UofL are pretty good, but they both play down to the level of their competition at times and so how do we actually know they are any good compared to OSU and Michigan? If the OSU/ Michigan game is a great game, and Clemson and UofL keep this up, you could make a very convincing argument that OSU and Michigan are both top 4 teams in the country. It would be a lot better for UofL if Michigan beats Ohio State.
