Bailey Walker goes for somewhere around 216 on the ground with one reception for 50 yard TD and one KO return for 88 yards and a TD. Three TD's total. Over 350 all-purpose yards.

 

Raceland had two INT's one was by Cameron Webb.

 

Davison well over 150 passing.

Great job of hanging tough and finally wearing the Jackets down. But, if Raceland shows up uninspired and disjointed next week, they'll get their rear ends handed to them.

I think that NC surprised the Rams tonight when they came out and threw the football. Those were good calls by the NC coach imo. A lot of undisciplined , stupid penalties for the Rams tonight, they cannot have those next week. I had said in the pre game thread that I would rather play NC anywhere on planet earth than at their place. NC plays well at home and from the mid 1970's to present .....lets just say that there has been a lot of yellow laundry flying in the air , some deserved and others ?? and I will leave it at that.

 

What a game that B. Walker had tonight ! Ram has already listed the numbers. Raceland impressed me in coming back from a 1st half deficit to blow out the Jackets in the 3rd qtr. ( it was 3td's in somewhere around 2 1/2 minutes) and kept going the rest of the half to put NC away and advance to the Region Final.

 

Also ....kudos to the NC Blue Jackets, players, coaches and fans on a very good season. :thumb:

I don't know who said a running clock but I know it wasn't me. I said Raceland by 8 so they surpassed that by a couple of td's. I 100 % agree with you on how hard your Jackets played. Raceland didn't take over until that quick td's in the 3rd qt

A couple of final thoughts .....I have no idea who the one female fan was that must have been sitting near the press box / radio crew but God bless her and I hope her throat, voice will recover. I have no problem with fans supporting their team, that's what it's all about. WOW, What a voice ! :eek: I heard her over the radio / I-net broadcast and the cow bells.

I love fans supporting their team, just wish this one would had been sitting further away from the press box. :lol2:

 

Also, thank you to the ones posting the update thead :thumb: I usually do but was having a lot of trouble with my hands, coordination due to this Disease, M.S. sucks in case anyone was wondering , I have to kid about it or I would go crazy.

Read threads from this game all week about a running clock and resting starters .... Was impressed with the Rams running back ... Didn't have an answer for him ...

This was a very chippy game right from the start. Even with the ejections I don't feel like the refs ever took control of the game. Honestly both teams were lucky to not have more ejections. That's not a knock on the kids from either side. The refs let way to much go on after the play all night. Nicholas in my opinion had the best o-line we have played all year. Very big across the board. We played sloppy and made some horrible mistakes and just didn't execute well. 0-8 extra points on the night. If we play like this next week we get beat by 3 scores.

I agree with all here and as for the 3 scores if we play like that next week, I think that's being kind ....play with those mistakes with the no discipline and what I call no focus penalties like offsides, false starts, etc.. and we get mercy ruled w/ a running clock.

Did the Rams score 30 unanswered after trailing 26-18 mid-third???

Yes, the 30 straight were probably from around 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter thru the 4th.
