That could never happen.
November 14, 20169 yr Author Michigans most likely done and if Ohio State does indeed wind up beating Michigan the win isn't as impressive. Bad for Ohio State. I need Speight to play so we can beat them at their best.

I mean it could happen, but the chances of them beating Ohio State and then Wisconsin in back to back weeks with John O'Korn at QB is pretty much nil IMO.

This even more proves just how talented Ohio State was in '14. The ability of Cardale Jones to step in and win the NC is insane. But Michigan could take a play out of UK's playbook and run the wildcat with Peppers all game. After all he is the best player in college football right? Time for him to prove it to me.

I still maintain that Cardale Jones taking over was the best thing that could have happened to them. As great as JT Barrett is I don't think they win the Bama game with him. Obviously Elliot would have done his thing no matter who was QB, however Cardale's big strong running ability was great that day, and most importantly it was his deep NFL type intermediate routes and deep ball throws that day that were huge for Ohio State. When Bama tried to load the box to stop the run, he was able to stand in the pocket with pressure and deliver deep NFL type throws in that game. Which as great as JT Barrett is, I don't think he gets it done against Bama. Barrett would have beat Oregon the next week, but I don't think they get by Bama with him. However we will never know, all we know is with Jones they beat three great teams in a row, and didn't have any slip ups like JT has at least once a year. It definitely will be tough for Michigan now. However if Michigan State could go into Ohio State last year and beat them with a third string QB, then Michigan can win with a backup. It seems like backup QB's win big games in the Big 10 each year.
