Who do you think wins and why?

Beechwood wins. But I'm interested if Holy Cross plays them tough like last year. They kept Beechwood in check fair last year with a solid defense but wasn't strong enough on the offensive side.

Last year, HC came out on fire before BW found a way to get Mr. Slusher more involved. The Tigers were also without Ethan Stringer and I believe Trevor Soward went down in this game. That was a huge adjustment for an offense to make. This year the Tigers are healthy and right now clicking on all cylinders on both sides of the ball and the game will be on a fast track that favors Beechwood. I would be surprised if we see the same struggles from Beechwood this game as we did last year.

BW Munchskins win going away. 34-14

That looks like a good prediction Oldercoach. I don't think it will be any closer than that score.

One thing Beechwood has always been good at is taking away the primary threat in the opposing offense. If LHC wants to hang around in this one they are going to have to involve multiple players in the offense and that does not suit their style this year. Going to have to match Beechwood score for score and I do not see that happening.

Holy Cross always has size. They look as big as ever this year with 3 linemen over 300 pounds and two others at 265 pounds. It will be Beechwood's athletic line and speed versus the Holy Cross size. Holy Cross has a nice running back, Mario Convenuto. He makes nice cuts and is hard to tackle but doesn't look like a breakaway threat. Beechwood should win this game by a good margin.
