Looking at opponents' records or not looking can skew opinions.

 

FS has two teams, Portland TN and Warren Central, that are combined 1-19. Computers look at point spreads only up to a point. With a running clock and common decency employed playing these teams hurts a computer ranking no matter what.

 

It is extremely difficult to compare two teams separated by 300 miles that have no common opponents. Whether by computer, abacus, or Hudl.

Yes it is very hard to compare teams but it is fun as heck trying

It's not where you ranked at the beginning,in the middle, but at the end that counts. We will see in about 4 weeks from Friday
