Florida at Arkansas

Featured Replies

So...if Florida wins on Saturday at Arkansas, not a given, by the way, they essentially lock up the East. Right? They still have home for South Carolina (they are NOT losing that game) and at LSU (certainly could and should lose that one). So if they win this weekend, they are likely going 6-2. That is the best UK can do, and the H2H gives Florida the nod, right?

So UK's only (albeit slim) chance at winning the East for the first time ever is to have Arkansas pull off the upset at home on Saturday at 3:30, and UK win out (in SEC play) -- am I adding all of that up correctly?

Yes. I'm not so sure an Arkansas home win over Florida would be an upset though.

Of course, I'm sure most thought there was no way Tennessee was losing to South Carolina either, so I wouldn't necessarily count that as a sure win just yet.

Not mathematically but almost certainly. I think they could lose this weekend.

I think UK fans need to make sure they beat Georgia this week. Don't count your chickens before they hatch.

The guys that build big building like Florida by between 3 and 4.

Speaking more qualitatively, I think Florida is a good TD better than the Hogs. However, as you allude to, you just never know.

I'm absolutely NOT a UK fan, in case you were alluding to me starting the thread.

I know. I'm just saying I see some on here talking about the SEC Champ game when they've only beaten the worst teams in the conference.

Those same guys also liked Missouri by almost a TD last week...Sometimes they're as clueless as us normal folk.

Arkansas 23-21.

Arkansas 23-21.

I sure hope so.

The Razorbacks play the same style as Florida. Giving them the edge playing at home.

Haven't watched much of Arkansas the last few weeks, but it feels like they have hit a bit of tough patch with their schedule. I don't this to happen, but I think UF wins pretty "easily".

I doubt you'll ever find a UK football fan who will count anything before it happens.

There were some on here talking about the SEC Champ game and UK in the same breath.

This only happens if Kentucky beats Georgia and Tenessee and Florida loses two of their three remaining conference games against Arkansas, South Carolina, and LSU. A lot of football and a lot of ifs.
