Any night is a good night for football IMO. JC has a few key players missing in Ousley, Ratliff, and Richardson, but definately has the depth to make up for it. Mason Meek was really impressive last week, as was the entire defense in such a difficult time. We should see that same intensity, and maybe some more this Friday night.

Mason will see alot more playing time imo. Cody Lowe, a defensive lineman that was out last week due to injury will be back this week. He will have a big impact if Bryan Station runs between the tackles.

Don't look now, but the Herald-Leader's Cantrall Ratings have Central at #5 in Class 3A and at #19 overall in Kentucky, all classes.

That's easily the highest the Golden Eagles have ever been in that rating system. Even in 2000 when the AP Poll had us at #4 in Class 4A, I still don't think we cracked the top ten in those ratings.

It's a very sudden paradigm shift for Mr. Cantrall's numerical opinion of Eagle football.

What day does Mr. Cantrall's ranking come out?

I agree any night is a good night for football. If we get the weather forecasted then the crowd should be back to the way it was against South Point. If so it should make for a energetic night for the Golden Eagles and The Nest should be a rockin.

When are the boys due back?

When are the boys due back?

I believe Ousley and Chase are both looking at another week or two. JK on the other hand, may be out anywhere from 3 to 6. But like I said, the Eagles have enough talent to keep on rollin' over the competition, if they can stay away from the distractions and local talk.

I just wanted to let everyone know to keep Bryan Childers a player from the JC football team in your thoughts.. His mother was in a bad car wreck and is in pretty bad shape so remember them and that everything will be ok and childers will be back out play and his mom to watch as soon as possible...

Who will be filling in their positions?

Who will be filling in their positions?

Richardson played RB, so that position should be ok. Ratliff was qb, that position will be filled until he is back. And Ousley played on the line, not forsure who will take his position while he is out, but matney will find a worthy replacement, he always does.

Bryan Station ina close game.

BS 24

JC 18

Central 31

Bryan Station 13

With JC's district play starting next week, I know the coaches wont look past Bryan Station. The players should stay focused on BS as well, I would hate to see JC come into the Lawrence County game with a record of 3-1.

According to WYMT the weather looks good for the game tomorrow night. Should be perfect football weather and i cant wait. A good dry field should play in JC's favor tomorrow considering we will be using both a new center and QB which should cut down on the # of bad snaps we may have seen with a wet field. Good Luck to both teams tomorrow and i cant wait.

bad snaps can sure kill a team. I sure hope the new center and qb can live up to ousley and Ratliff

GO Eagles GO

This game is very important for JC. If JC wins, that gives them 2 wins against BS. One win at home, and one win at BS.
