I'm not comparing the programs and if I was I would take Ohio State to win more championships over the next 10 years than Bama, but the only time they've played in recent memory, Ohio State beat Alabama at their own game on the biggest stage.

The bolded will be interesting as I doubt either Saban or Meyer will still be there 5 years from now, let alone 10...

Saban I can see. But Meyer is only 52. He has at least 10 more good years left coaching. Where exactly do you think these guys will be?

Saban has zero left to prove, so I'd imagine he'd retire.

I still think Urban will want to take a shot at the NFL.

Anyways....Back to Alabama @ Tennessee...

I just don't see a way the Vols win. They fall behind like normal against Bama and it's over. They have too good a defense to let them back in it.

Urban wants nothing to do with the NFL.

I don't think Bama has the offense to put them away early like A&M did.

Had UT won last week I would have liked their chances much more against Bama. This is, however, UT's last chance to sneak into the playoffs so they should have some extra motivation.

I would be worried about UT's depth. I think Bama pulls it out in a close one. Lower scoring than people are anticipating.

That's about as bad a look as you can get. Doesn't surprise me with Butch Jones though.
Thats pretty bad... I want to know what the guy did though, but this looks bad either way.

The way it appears is that he did something bad enough to get disciplined for it, but Jones wanted/needed him for the A&M game so he looked past it. Now that he's hurt, he's no use to Jones so he's gone.

This line made me laugh: "...However, should he require any additional care, it will be provided by the University of Tennessee,” the release said

Yeah, that isn't an option, that is how the NCAA works.

I'm going to send out a memo to my staff that if they work hard Wednesday - Friday this week, then they can have this weekend off. Aren't I also very benevolent?

Really? Wow, I'd find that kind of result here staggering.

I will be shocked if it is much more than the 6 I listed above. If UT gets boat-raced at home you will be able to color me surprised.

Alabama is just another type of animal.

B-E-A-T Down!!!

And it should have been worse.
